Acceptance Guidelines

We require a written record of each child’s immunizations upon acceptance. A completed medical form must be received by the school. When accepting a child in our programs, we use the following guidelines:

Toddler Program -

1. Children entering in the Toddler Program (2-2 1/2 year olds) do not need to be toilet trained.
2. Siblings of children already in our school are given the first consideration.

Casa Program -

1. Children must be toilet trained before enrolling in the Casa Program (ages 3-6).
2. Siblings of children already in our school are given the first consideration.
3. Children from other Montessori schools are considered next.
4. Parents understand that the Casa Program is a three-year program. Normally children are not accepted to Casa after their 4th birthday, unless they come from another Montessori program.

Lower Elementary Program -

1. Children from other Montessori schools are given the first consideration.
2. Students applying to Grades 1 to 4 are required to write an in-house entrance test.

Upper Elementary Program -

1. Students applying to Grades 5 to 8 are required to write an in-house entrance exam.
2. The student's current Report Card will be reviewed.
