Our guidelines

We require a written record of each child’s immunizations upon acceptance.
A completed medical form must be received by the school. When accepting a child in our programs, we use the following guidelines:

Toddler program

1. Children entering in the toddler program (2 to 2 1/2 year olds) do not need to be toilet trained.
2. Siblings of children already in our school are given the first consideration.

Casa program

1. Children must be toilet trained before enrolling in the Casa program (ages 3 to 6).
2. Siblings of children already in our school are given the first consideration.
3. Children from other Montessori schools are considered next.
4. Parents understand that the Casa program is a three year program.
   Normally children are not accepted to Casa after their 4th birthday, unless they come from another Montessori program.

Lower elementary program

1. Children from other Montessori schools are given the first consideration.
2. Students applying to Grades 1 to 4 are required to write an in house entrance test and participate in an interview with Mrs. Varalli.

Upper elementary program

1. Students applying to Grades 5 to 8 are required to write an in house entrance exam and participate in an interview with Mrs. Varalli.
2. The student’s current report card will be reviewed.
